Chloroform, which is necessary for RNA extraction by the traditional guanidine isothiocyanate-phenol-chloroform method, is classified as a group 2B carcinogen. Recently, Beyotime has launched RNA Extraction Buffer (Chloroform Substitute), which is a low toxicity reagent mixture that can replace Chloroform in the RNA extraction process related to RNA extraction reagents such as Trizol and Beyozol.

Product Features:
This product has low toxicity and does not contain Chloroform. There are many legal regulations and restrictions in ordering, using, and storing Chloroform. This product is functionally similar to Chloroform, with relatively low toxicity, making it a better substitute for Chloroform.
This product has good separation efficiency. Compared to Chloroform, this product has stronger hydrophobicity and can form a tighter intermediate layer during RNA extraction, greatly reducing the DNA and protein residue, minimizing RNA contamination, and providing better separation efficiency.
This product is convenient to use and cost-effective. In the RNA extraction process, for every 1ml of Trizol (R0016) or Beyozol (R0011), only 200μl of RNA Extraction Buffer (Chloroform Substitute) needs to be added. The usage method is identical to Chloroform, and this product has no adverse effects on the quality and quantity of the extracted RNA. Additionally, both sizes of this product come in 5 individual packets, effectively reducing the risk of RNase contamination due to multiple uses.
