High-purity nucleic acids are important for genome-related experiments such as next generation sequencing, qPCR/ddPCR/PCR, microarray and other enzymatic reactions.
Beyotime has now developed the BeyoMag™ DNA Size Selection Magnetic Beads based on the SPRI (Solid Phase Reverse Immobilization) technology for simplified DNA purification and size selection. The DNA fragments of desired size range can be selected by adjusting the amount of this product in the DNA solution.
This product is a salt solution containing magnetic beads, polyethylene glycol (PEG) and other substances. Under a certain concentration of salt solution and PEG environment, the conformation of DNA molecule will be changed and a large number of phosphate groups will be exposed to bind with the magnetic beads coated with carboxyl group (-COOH). Subsequently, when the PEG and salt are removed by magnetic separation, the DNA can be eluted from the magnetic beads and the isolated and purified DNA is obtained. By controlling the concentration of PEG and salt in the DNA solution, DNA fragments of desired size can be obtained. Please refer to Figure 1 for the operation flowchart of this product.

Product Features:
High Specificity and Binding Capacity: This product has rapid DNA binding speed and high binding capacity. Nucleic acid fragments of different sizes can be separated and purified quickly. Moreover, the small particle size of magnetic beads makes it less prone to non-specific binding and more effective to remove unincorporated dNTPs, primers, primer dimers, salts and other contaminants.
